CUSB Donates $1,500 to HoCA

CUSB Bank put out a challenge to all golfers at the HoCA Benefit Tournament July 11 to get a Hole In One and if they did, a donation of $2,500 would be given to the organization. Even though no golfers were able to meet the challenge, CUSB gave a donation of $1,500 to the Howard Cancer Association. Pictured receiving the check (from left to right) are the tournament organizers Lynn McCormick, Marge Sovereign, Bill Seele, Sheryl Seele, Vicki Sovereign (a member of the HoCA board), and Larry Shroyer. Not pictured is Bob Murphy, who was also a tournament organizer.  Presenting the check from CUSB (from left to right) are Emily Dohlman-Govern, Alex McCabe, Scott Thomson, Mike Drees, Jodi Rosendahl, and Dawn Mensink. More than $4,000 was raised in the tourney for HoCA, a local cancer association that presents grants to local cancer patients undergoing treatments.
